Last half hour is more advanced for intermediate - advanced students including choreography and props (zills, veil, cane, etc.)

** Intermediate /Advanced Classes:


These classes focus on
Egyptian style belly dance technique for intermediate to advanced dancers.  Prior belly dance experience highly recommended. 

Class will cover advanced level movement, choreographies, combinations, various layering technique, expression, musical dance improvising, Taqseem, and performance skills.

Some guest Middle Eastern musicians may be invited to these classes. Strong focus on choreographies and performance.  Performing is always optional.

Troupe Raihaanah is Marlena’s performing group which consists of intermediate and advanced students.  They meet during class time and also prior to performances for extra rehearsals.

Egyptian hip belts, cymbals, and veils will be available for purchase during class.

 

Marlena also teaches private and semi-private instruction focused on individual skill level and needs.
