"Marlena Shaw of Reflections Dance and Fitness Studio in Anaheim, an
area steeped in Middle Eastern culture, is the go-to person in
Orange County for lessons in authentic Middle Eastern dance. Shaw
was born and raised in Southern California, but her Egyptian clients
swear she was raised on the Nile. 'It’s the highest form of
compliment, as a Middle Eastern belly dancer, to have clients that
know the art form appreciate your work'”

Marlena,
I totally enjoy your
class. You are a beautiful dancer and a generous instructor.
I absolutely had a wonderful time last night. What a great
experience!!
I really appreciate the confidence you placed in me when you asked
me to dance with you. I am and would be honored to dance with
you again... Thank you again for your
confidence in me.
All the best,
Alane

Marlena,
I have not had as much
fun in a dance class as I do in yours. Thank
you so much! Each class is a nice surprise and so very cool
that you have us thinking on our own. That is a major help to me and
I am sure the rest think the same. Scary, but so fun!
Keep up the great work. I think you are on the right path and
I am glad to be a part of it.
Thanks again,
Ginger

Marlena
Thank you for making
bellydancing so much fun. I think you are an awesome dancer
and really enjoy learning from you. I would also like to take
this opportunity to thank you for being so patient with me,
especially when my body won't do what it is supposed to do.
Thanks again,
Sylvia

Marlena
danced at our wedding reception on April 24, 2005 and her dancing
made the evening very special. My husband is Italian/Egyptian
and this was a surprise for him. He was thrilled to have Marlena
dance dressed in a beautiful red Egyptian costume. She
sparkled as she danced with graceful, pulsating movements, and a
winning smile that enchanted everyone. It was an unforgettable
evening that will always remain in our hearts as an Egyptian
Rhapsody performed by Marlena.
Thank you, Asja and
Gamal (Gino)
